North Tonawanda Parks & Recreation
Welcome to
Who Are We?
The North Tonawanda Youth Center is a branch of the North Tonawanda Parks & Recreation Department, which is a municipal organization funded on a city and state level.
Located in The Hope Center at 383 Vandervoort Street, the Youth Center welcomes youth grades K-12 to participate in programming.
There is no fee to participate or attend; however all participants must be registered for their free
All staff members are First Aid & CPR certified and every room is monitored at all times by these workers.
Our Youth Center is only for residents of
North Tonawanda.
Hours of Operation
The Rec opens on Tuesday, October 6th!
K - 6 Grade Hours
Tuesdays - Fridays: 4:30 - *6:15 PM
Saturdays: 12:00 - 4:00 PM
Sundays & Mondays: CLOSED
7 - 12 Grade Hours
Tuesdays - Thursdays: 6:30 - 8:30 PM
Fridays: 6:30 - 9:00 PM
Saturdays: *4:15 - 9:00 PM
Sundays & Mondays: CLOSED
*please note new hours for the 2026-27 year, these times allow for a transition time for the two age groups, thank you for your cooperation!

Every child in North Tonawanda, from Kindergarten up to 12th grade, has access to FREE youth center memberships.
A free REC membership affords the child free access to our facilities during our open hours of operation.
